Day 1
|
The tourists arrive from
Moscow; they are met at the airport of Kyzyl,
transferred to the yurt's complex "By-Khem"*.
They have spare time, rest, those who wish
can walk through the outskirts and go up the
nearest hill to watch the whole By-Khem valley.
Evening bonfire.
*Accommodation will be
in the yurt complex "By-Khem". Breakfast,
lunch, dinner.

- "By-Khem" is a yurts' camp, located just
on the riverbank of the By-Khem (in Tuvan
- Big Yenisey). Accommodation is in the
real Tuvan yurts built by the Tuvan craftsmen
specially for tourists. The yurts will fill
you with thoughts and feelings of the past,
mysterious and eternal.

Day 2
|
Breakfast. The group goes
to the east, to the tourist camp "Vasilyevka"*
(180 km.) Lunch. The tourists can go boating,
bathing and sunbathing and catch the tastiest
fish - grayling and colt. In the evening -
real Siberian banya.
*Accommodation is in
the tent camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

- At "Vasilyevka" there are cozy wooden
houses located on the bank of the river.
To get there tourists have to use a ferry-boat,
which works using the power of the river.
This ferry is the only bridge between civilization
and old-believers land.

Day 3
|
Breakfast. The group goes
to the river of old believers' at the river
Sisim where they can see daily life, rites
and traditions of these unusual people. Meeting
with local people are amasing. It is a real
trip through out the time into another world
with other values and interests. Evening bonfire,
dinner.
*Accommodation in "By-Khem".
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

- The history of these settlements begins
in 18 century and is still alive. There
is no transport or other conveniences of
civilisation, they live with the help of
nature. The trip passes along the banks
of the Ka-Khem river (in Tuvan - Small Yenisey).
You'll have outstanding impression and will
never forget the Siberian nature.

Day 4
|
Early in the morning the
group goes to the south to the lake Tere-Khol,
one of the most beautiful but difficult to
access lakes (250km.) Our trip passes through
the territory of the Ubsunurskaya hollow.
On the bank of the lake the group comes to
the nomad's yurt. Acquaintance with daily
life of a Tuvan family makes a big impression
on our guests.
Arrival to the lake, accommodation
in the tents' camp. Bathing in the lake, evening
bonfire, dinner.

- Tere-Khol lake stretches in the mountain
hollow for 10 km. from the south-west to
the north-east. Pikes and ides live there.
Native people use this water for drinking
too.
- The Ubsunurskaya hollow is one of the
most unique places of Asia, where the nature
created so-called "parade of landscapes".
During a day you can see sandy deserts,
steppes, forest-steppes, mountain ridges
covered with snow, tundra and bogs. In the
Ubsunurskaya hollow you can see the northernmost
deserts and in its frames - the Southernmost
tundra.

Day 5
|
Breakfast. Returning to
the yurt's camp there is a big burial mound
with a ring not far from the road. Near the
mound there's a deer's stone with the image
of "flying deer". Lunch will be in unusual
place, so-called "ovaa", the place where Tuvan
shamans hold their rites.
Return to "By-Khem", rest,
dinner.
In the evening camp - a bewitching
show: a ritual blessing for health and happiness
at the fire ring.

complex "By-Khem". Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

- "Ovaa" - the place where Tuvan shamans
hold their rites.
- "Deer's stone" with the image of "flying
deer" - Such monuments are met in Tuva very
rarely, mostly one can see them in Mongloia.
- This ritual is a talk to the spirits,
a real magical ritual at the fireplace,
followed by the prolonged sounds of a man
and his tambourine. You will witness a most
rare occasion when several shamans take
part in the same ritual all together. In
this purification ritual you can plunge
into meditation or you can make a wish and
it will come true.

Day 6
|
Breakfast. The group goes
to the west to the mineral spring called Arjaan
Shiviling (420km.). In translation Arjaan
means "saint water, mineral water, curative
spring".
Before lunch there is a stop
near the breathtaking mountain Khayrakan*.
Lunch is on the grass, in
the company of "Seven Sisters" - century years
old larch trees, growing from one root. Then
visiting monument of "Chinggis-Khaan"* . Arrival
to the spring, have dinner, and have a rest
near by the evening bonfire.

in the tents' camp. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.

- "Shiviling" is a radon spring. It's located
on the top of the fold Shiviling on the
left bank of the Khemchik River in 10-15km
from the village Baytal.
- There are more than 50 curative springs
met in Tuva, mineral and sweet. The Tuvans
worship the springs, sing songs about them
and always keep the rite of visiting and
thanksgiving arjaan as a gift of nature.
Several times a year shamans hold the rite
of mystery, clearing arjaans. Just all types
of mineral waters are met: carbonic, hydrosulphuric,
salted, radon, acid etc.
- Khayrakan is one of the most saint and
respected places in Tuva. In 1992 it was
chosen as the energetically strong place
and was sanctified by the Dalay Lama the
14th. Once a year the local shamans
come to this place to revive, to strengthen
and to clean their spirit. Why not take
a chance to use this possibility?
- The monument of Chinggis-Khaan is 1.2
meters high stands alone in the endless
steppe and nobody touches it. Why it is
so you learn from the guide's story.

Day 7
|
Breakfast. Walking and watching
outskirts, bathing, climbing the mountain
Mongulek. Lunch is near the foot of the mountain
not far from the ancient monuments. Coming
back to the camp. Dinner.
Evening bonfire.

- The Mongulek mountain is 3577 meters high
above the sea level, the special feature
of this mountain is its beautiful ridges
that it always covered with snow. From Mongulek
one can see an outstanding panorama.

Day 8
|
Breakfast. Transfer to Kyzyl.
A stop at the mountain Syn-Chureck. Native
people call it "The heart of a Maral". You'll
see how to copy these images to the paper
to take them with you as the rarest souvenir.
Climbing the mountain Syn-Chureck you can
observe a wonderful view of the outskirts.
Then you'll have picnic near the foot of the
mountain. After picnic - the continuation
of the trip to Kyzyl.
Arrival to the yurts' camp
"By-Khem".
Dinner. Evening bonfire.

- Syn-Chureck is famous for its unusual
form and also ancient rock's drawings of
different epochs, beginning of the epoch
of bronze. The rock drawings take special
place among the huge variety of national
richness of Tuva. More than 300 rock drawings
with the images of animals and hunting scenes
attract tourist's attention.

Day 9
|
Excursion to Kyzyl, the capital
of Tuva, visiting the Geographical Centre
of Asia. Visiting Buddhist temple where you'll
listen to the sermon of the real lama. The
main part of the daily program is visiting
of the Shaman's clinic. The real shamans,
old and young, tell you about their traditions,
rites and their capabilities. Those who wishes
to have a look to the future, to pass the
purification ritual or to learn about the
state of health can make an appointment with
any of the shamans.
Lunch is at the restaurant
of Kyzyl where Tuvan traditional dishes cuisine
will be cooked specially for the guests. Visit
to the National Museum of Tuva, the souvenir'
shop and the atelier of the national dress.
After dinner - the performance
of the traditional throat singing - "Khoomej".
The throat singing is a fantastical capability
of the Tuvan people (and some other Siberian
peoples) to emit simultaneously two or three
sounds of different tone and to sustain the
same sound for 25-30 seconds without taking
a breath. If you close your eyes it is hard
to believe that the sounds are emitted by
a person and not by a musical instrument.

- Kyzyl is located in the place of confluence
of the rivers By-Khem (Big Yenisey) and
Ka-Khem (Small Yenisey), which form famous
Yenisey (Ulug-Khem). It was founded by tsar's
government in 1914 as a sign of main point
in floating. Nowadays Kyzyl is a big town,
buried in verdure, the main sightseeing's
are the monument of Centre of Asia, National
Museum of Tuva, Shaman's Clinic.
- Geographical Centre of Asia is the monument,
which is symbolically situated close to
the place of the river confluence - By-Khem
(Big Yenisey) and Ka-Khem (Small Yenisey).
From this point the famous Great Yenisey
begins and crosses Siberia from South to
North.
- The ancient building of the National Museum
of Tuva is a historical monument itself.
Different archaeological finds of various
epochs are presented here.
- The throat singing - a fantastical capability
of the Tuvan people (and some other Siberian
peoples) to emit simultaneously two or three
sounds of different tone and to sustain
the same sound for 25-30 seconds without
taking a breath. If you close your eyes
it is hard to believe that the sounds are
emitted by a person and not by a musical
instrument.

Day 10
|
Breakfast. Transfer to
the airport. Departure to Moscow.
|
Tour includes: Hotel,
double accommodation in the yurt's camps, accommodation
in the tent camp on the route. 3 meals a day in
the yurt's camp, Full Board. Transfers. Excursions,
concerts, maintenance staff, bilingual guide, visa-support,
insurance.
In case of bad weather the program changes for
the alternative program: (8 days/9 nights)

Day 8
|
Visiting of the burial mound
"Arjaan-2". Also this day you'll visit Tsar's
valley.
Picnic is at the "arjaan"
in the silence and the tuvan steppes. Afterwards
the group goes toward the border with Krasnoyarsk
region, makes a stop on the sight area with
the breathtaking view on Tuva.
Returning to "By-Khem". Dinner.
Evening bonfire.

in the yurts' camp "By-Khem". Breakfast, lunch,
dinner.

- The excavations of this mound began in
2001 by the group of archaeologists from
Saint Petersburg in common with German specialists.
The appearance of "arjaan" dates 6 century
BC. A grave of the "Tsar" and "Tsaritsa"
(a king and a queen) was found and there
were a lot of golden wares, the common weight
was near 20kg. All these prove that the
Skythian culture was in the prime of life.
The excavations were continued in 2002 in
common with State Hermitage. In other parts
of the burial mound unique remains of ancient
dress and the burial place of 14 horses
were found.

Day 9
|
Breakfast. Everybody will
be offered a very interesting and breathtaking
rafting on the By-Khem river. The duration
of the rafting is 6 hours, on the route there
will be picnic and also visit nomads-settlement,
living there. Rafting ends at the yurts' camp
"By-Khem".
Rest. Dinner. Evening bonfire.

the yurts' camp "By-Khem". Breakfast, lunch,
dinner.

- A raft is a big boat and a very reliable
"transport".
|
The alternative program budget includes: Picnic, transfers,
saving waist-coats, oars, excursion to "Arjaan2",
maintenance staff, instructor. Yurt's camp "By-Khem",
Horseback riding, national Tuvan cuisine, rafting,
yurt's camp "Vasil'evka".
